Ginbis crispy rice flour scones

These scones are made with rice flour and Ginbis biscuits on top. They are delicious served warm or toasted with any butter and jam.

It does not require a mould since it is rolled by hand. Lastly, decorate the scones with Ginbis Dream animal biscuits.

Ingredients – Chocolate flavour

  • Chocolate chip/chocolate flavour
  • Rice flour 55g
  • Almond poodle/powder
  • Baking powder ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar 15g
  • Unsalted butter 25g
  • Milk 25g
  • Ginbis biscuits

Ingredients – Strawberry flavour

  • Strawberry jam 15g
  • Rice flour 55g
  • Almond powder 10g
  • Baking powder ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar 15g
  • Unsalted butter 25g
  • Milk 20g
  • Ginbis biscuits

Ingredients – Matcha flavour

  • Matcha powder 1teaspoon
  • Rice flour 55g
  • Almond powder 10g
  • Baking powder ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar 15g
  • Unsalted butter 25g
  • Milk 20g
  • Chocolate chips 20g
  • Ginbis biscuits

How to make

Bring the oven to 170-degree Celsius preheat.

  • Finely chop the butter
  • Separate the powders of A, B, and C into a bowl and mix them well with a whisk until there are no lumps.
  • Add butter to each bowl and mix well by hand until smooth. (You may do it with a food processor.)
  • Put milk in each bowl and mix it gently with a rubber spatula.
  • Add chocolate chips to the chocolate chip flavour and strawberry jam to the strawberry flavour, mix gently, divide each dough into two equal parts, and roll into a flat round shape.
  • Put the food animal on it and lightly run the dough along the food animal to prevent it from falling.
  • Bake in at oven at 170-degree Celsius for 20-25 mins to complete.
